Inglot AMC gel eyeliners in 70 and 84 || Review ||

Today I am presenting you two beautiful gel liners from the Inglot AMC gel eyeliner range. The colors I picked out are pretty non-conventional eyeliner colors, one is pastel blue in the shade 70, and the other one is bright yellow in the shade 84.

These were purchased at the Inglot store in Sarajevo and cost around 30 KM, which is somewhere around $16. You do not have to spend that kind of money, you can opt for more affordable options like Colourpop. Unfortunately, that brand is unavailable for those of us who don't live in the US, so we have to pay a bit more to get what we want.

The liners come in a little box which I always tend to keep because it protects the actual packaging of the liners. You get 5.5g/0.19 US oz of product which I think is a very good amount, Buy one of these, and you'll be set for a really long time. Especially if you go for a color that you do not wear all that often, just like the colors I am showing you today.

Since I haven't noticed any difference in application between those two, I will just merge the review into one. Their texture is very creamy when you start working with them, even though it may not seem like it right off the bat. They are soft and glide on nicely.

As you all probably already know, these very light colors tend to have uneven or patchy application, no matter what brand produces them. I have noticed that too especially the first time I used them. The color application was not extremely uneven, but it was not vibrant enough. But, there's nothing that layering can't solve! They layer very well and they do not build up and get all cracky like some other liners do. I feel like you just have to get used to them, just like when you switch from felt tip liners to gel ones. They are nice to work with and the color is very buildable.

They work beautifully together. I have used the yellow shade (84) on the first half of my lid, and the blue (70) one on the outer half and I winged it. Since I did not want any weird yellow to blue switches on my lid, I decided to blend them together by flipping over the brush a few times and going over the two colors in the middle of the lid, I got this very beautiful green shade and the switch from color to color did not look so sudden. As long as you blend them when they are still wet, you'll be good and there will be no problems.

They are easy to work with when they are just applied, but when they get dry they won't budge. You will not have to worry about any smudging or smearing with these babies.

I usually apply them with an angled eyeliner brush and I haven't had any problems.
The picture below shows them swatched individually as well as blended together. I hope this gives you a better idea of what they actually look on.

In all honesty, these weren't just one-color swatches. It took going over them a few times to make them look this vibrant. They don't look bad when they are done with only one swipe, but as I already said these very light shades always tend to require a bit more work. That is not something I particularly mind. Once you have the general outline on the lid, you can just go over it with your brush until you get the intensity that you want.
I have heard amazing things about the black Inglot gel liner, but I haven't tried it yet. It is one of many items in my wishlist.

I hope my review helped you, and if there is anything specific you want me to write about just let me know in the comments below.

Lots of love,
Ayesha
